For thinking of leaving

Deciding whether to leave takes longer than a weekend. We’ll keep the notes.

Your coach won’t push you out the door, or give you a pep talk to stay. The notes keep what you actually said, week after week, until the answer is plain to you.

No. 0611From Your coachTo Kabelo D.

Three Mondays in a row you’ve said Sunday evenings feel heavy. Twice you’ve said the work is fine; it’s the way decisions get made.

What would have to change for you to stay, and have you said it to anyone there?

What your coach won’t do

  • Tell you to quit.
  • Tell you to stay.
  • Help draft a resignation before you’ve decided.
  • Advise on a severance offer or a restraint of trade. That’s a labour lawyer, and your coach will say so.
