No. 0502From Your coachTo Naledi K.

Since August you’ve mentioned three results in passing: the Durban renewal, the audit with no findings, and training the two new analysts. You called the audit “nothing big”.

Which of the three do you want your manager to repeat to her boss?

The six weeks

One thing a week, ending in the room.

  1. Week 1The list. Every result you’ve mentioned, with the date you said it.
  2. Week 2The lead. The one you’ll open with, and the number that proves it.
  3. Week 3–4The ask. A rating, a raise or a role, in one sentence.
  4. Week 5Out loud. Say it once in a reply before you say it in the room.
  5. Week 6The Friday after. What was said, and what you’ll do next.
